WDR Pathway to Recovery Program

In Partnership with Community Links (Hartlepool)

Overview

We Do Recover (WDR) is partnering with Community Links, a well-established Hartlepool-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by addiction. Together, we are launching a 4-week "Back to Basics" Recovery Program rooted in the principles of the 12 Steps and integrated through a holistic, person-centered model of recovery.

Our Approach

This is not a traditional abstinence-based or harm-reduction model. Instead, we offer an Integral Recovery Pathway—working with the body, spirit, and mind to support long-term transformation and self-discovery.

The 4-Week Back to Basics Program

Peer-Led Meetings that guide individuals through the foundational principles of the 12 Steps in a simple, accessible way.

A space for self-reflection, connection, and empowerment, grounded in community and lived experience.

A gateway to the wider We Do Wellbeing Model.

Pathway Forward

Upon completing the 4-week program, individuals are supported to:

Explore their own path of recovery through body (strength training, walking, energy work), mind (coaching, mindfulness), and spirit (sound therapy, guided meditation).

Identify and cultivate their passion and purpose.

Continue engaging with peer-led support or access coaching and development opportunities through We Do.

Vision

Our vision is to walk alongside people, not to dictate their recovery but to open a pathway—from the roots of the 12 Steps to the full bloom of holistic wellbeing. By reconnecting with themselves, individuals can reconnect with life, purpose, and the community around them.
